Clientless remote Windows
Remote a Windows desktop from a web page, no mstsc.
What the problem looks like
The one Windows box runs software that lives nowhere else — and you are on a Mac, or a phone. Installing mstsc, setting up a VPN, opening a port: every step needs IT.
How it is solved
- A web page is the remote desktop — Mac, iPad or phone all work
- Multi-touch, long-press and drag are properly adapted, not a shrunken desktop you poke at
- Passwords are stored encrypted — no more passing them around in chat
- Reconnects on its own, and tells apart "the machine is unreachable" from "the tunnel dropped"
