AI for everyone who wants to learn and build

The compute comes from people around the world who share it.

What we see

Someone wants to learn to code but has no teacher nearby; a child has questions nobody around can answer; someone in a small town, a remote place or a hard situation wants to learn a skill to land a job. AI can be a patient teacher that’s always there — yet many people are shut out: they can’t sign up, can’t pay, or live where it isn’t offered.

Where this compute comes from

Huge numbers of computers and GPUs sit idle every day. Their owners — we call them Lamplighters — choose to share that idle compute. We connect it securely and route it to the people who truly need it. Every bit they share pays them back: points, priority, and a title worthy of what they give.

What you can do with it

What we hold to

  • Usable without signing up
  • No payment method required
  • 16 languages
  • Opens on older phones and computers
  • Free users’ requests are encrypted too, and normal requests leave no content behind

Need long-term free support?

If you’re studying, looking for work or teaching others, and paying isn’t possible right now — tell us what you want to do with AI and we’ll support you long term. Teachers, schools and non-profits can apply on behalf of their students.

Who pays for it

  • Lamplighters share their idle compute
  • Users with a compute reserve support the priority lane
  • Tutu products settle usage internally
  • The platform subsidizes the part used by free learners

Become a Lamplighter

While your computer sleeps, someone may be using it to write their first line of code; when you need it, Lamplighters around the world will do the same for you.
